CHS SPIRIT WEEK INFORMATION FOR FRIDAY -- CHS Spirit Week Dress Up Day for Friday, January 19, is Crazy Red & Black Day. Show your CHS spirit by dressing in CRAZY Red & Black! The student and faculty Spirit Week competitions and the Senior/Faculty Game will take place Friday afternoon. It will all be live streamed on our Chaffee Athletics & Activities YouTube channel starting at 1:00 pm. Our Red Devils Boys Basketball team will play the Oak Ridge BlueJays Friday night at 6:00 p.m. All students will get in FREE to Friday night’s basketball game! Come out and support the boys! Also, congratulations to all of our Class Spirit Leader candidates: 7th Grade - Gracie Govreau and Cy Cannon; 8th Grade - Makenna Nixon and Corbyn Held; 9th Grade - Cara Kelly and Dominic Polhamus; 10th Grade - Delaney Lesch and Zeke Wessel; 11th Grade - Zoe Bentley and Eli Nix; 12th Grade - Jayda Sadler and Tyson Arnzen. Voting for the 2024 Spirit Leaders will take place at the basketball game Friday night.

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is Tuesday, January 9. Thank You to ALL of our law enforcement officers who keep our school and community safe! And, a very special Thank You to our Chaffee School District Resource Officer -- Officer Lyerla!
Students return to school on Monday, January 8th. Cape Career and Technology Center (CTC) students will only attend during their CHS hours. CTC resumes on January 9th.

WINTER BREAK -- Second Quarter ends on Wednesday, December 20th. High School CTC students reminders--Only morning Cape Career and Technology Center (CTC) students will attend CTC classes. Afternoon CTC students will not be attending classes the afternoon of Wednesday, December 20th. Winter Break begins on Thursday, December 21st. Students will return to school from break on Monday, January 8th.
ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PARTIES AND LOST & FOUND COATS, HOODIES, AND CLOTHING REMINDERS – Elementary Christmas Parties will be at 2:15 pm on Wednesday, December 20. Parents – If your child is missing a coat, hoodie, or other clothing, please make sure you stop by and check our CES Lost & Found, or if you are at the Christmas parties on Wednesday please remember to check at that time. We have numerous coats and hoodies in the Lost and Found and would like to get them sent home with the students before break.
