CONGRATULATIONS CARLYANNE COSSOU!
Congratulations to Carlyanne Cossou who broke TWO career records on Monday, October 12, during Monday’s win over Doniphan.
With a single in the 3rd inning, she registered her 165th career hit to break the career hits record. The previous record of 164 was held by Sydney Walker.
That same hit was also her 118th career single, which broke the previous career record of 117 that was held by Ayne' Held.
Congratulations to Carlyanne for these tremendous accomplishments throughout her career!
CHS MOGUL DANCE -- OCTOBER 17
The CHS Mogul Dance is this week! Get your date and make plans to attend!
~ The CHS Mogul Dance will take place on Saturday, October 17th from 7 - 10 p.m. in the High School Activity Center.
~ Cost is $5 per person or $8 per couple.
~ There will be concessions available.
~ NO COSTUMES allowed!
~ Coronation of the Mogul Candidates will take place at approximately 8:30 p.m.
~ Out-of-school date forms are outside of the office and must be turned in by Wednesday, October 14th.
~ Photos will be available for $5 per photo.
~ The dance is semi formal! No sweats allowed!

This week we are honoring the importance of healthy, nutritious meals served in our school cafeteria that support student success in and out of the classroom. The Rock ‘N’ Roll Drive-In is partnering with Chaffee Elementary to help fund the BackPack Program – October 16 and 17!
The BackPack Program is a program that Chaffee Elementary is raising funds to support. It provides students who need extra support with food to take home each weekend throughout the school year.

CONGRATULATIONS KOLIE MORGAN -- Congratulations to Kolie Morgan who broke the single season stolen base record on Thursday, October 8, at Poplar Bluff with her 22nd stolen base of the season. The previous record of 21 was set by Ayne' Held in 2022. Congratulations, Kolie!

The Make Your Mark (Paint Your Parking Spot) event date has been MOVED TO Saturday, October 17, from 8:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. for Juniors and Seniors that would like to paint their parking spots.

Chaffee Elementary and Jr/Sr High School will have an Early Dismissal Day on Friday, October 9. School will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.

FCA FIELDS OF FAITH AT SEMO ON OCTOBER 7
Chaffee FCA will be attending SEMO's FCA Fields of Faith on Wednesday, October 7, at SEMO Houck Stadium. The bus will leave school at 6:00 p.m., and we will return between 8:30-9:00 p.m. Please get a permission slip from Mrs. Mayberry ASAP. There will be no food service there so students will need to eat ahead of time. No money required to attend.
Fields of Faith will be a fun night of meeting and listening to SEMO athletes and local high school students share their testimonies, great worship music, and being able to play games on the Houck Field! This will be an awesome time so invite your friends and family and join us! Open to the public. Free admission.
UPDATE: -- JUNIOR HIGH GIRLS BASKETBALL GAME — OCTOBER 5
Tonight’s Junior High Girls Basketball game (Monday, October 5) will now be just 1 game at 5:00 p.m. against Oran. Our 6:30 p.m. opponent will not be able to play this evening.
