REMINDER – RED RIBBON WEEK AT CHAFFEE ELEMENTARY ON OCTOBER 27-30 -- This year, Chaffee Elementary will celebrate Red Ribbon Week from October 27–30 to raise awareness and promote a drug-free lifestyle for our students. Our theme is Life is a Puzzle – Solve It Drug Free! Red Ribbon Week is a nationwide campaign that encourages schools, families, and communities to work together to keep children safe, healthy, and drug-free. At the CES, Red Ribbon Week is a week where we focus on healthy habits, healthy choices, and pledge to be bully free and drug free. Dress-Up Day Themes: Monday (October 27): Follow Your Dreams, Be Drug-Free! — Wear pajamas. Tuesday (October 28): Sock It to Drugs! — Wear crazy socks. Wednesday (October 29): Turn Your Back on Drugs and Bullies! — Wear clothes inside out or backward. CONGRATULATIONS TO JUNIOR HIGH 8TH GRADE LADY DEVILS – 1ST PLACE CONFERENCE CHAMPS IN REGULAR SEASON AND 2ND PLACE IN THE CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT! The Junior High 8th Grade Lady Devils Basketball team finished their season on Tuesday, October 21st, with 2nd place in the Scott Mississippi Conference Tournament. They also received 1st place and were undefeated in the Conference in the Regular Season! Way to Go and Congratulations Lady Devils on an awesome season!
CONGRATULATIONS LADY DEVILS SOFTBALL – DISTRICT CHAMPS!! CHS Lady Devils softball is victorious 8-1 over Kelly winning their third straight District Championship! Great Job Lady Devils players & coaches! The Quarterfinal game is scheduled to be played at Chaffee on Saturday, October 25th. NATIONAL SCHOOL BUS SAFETY WEEK (OCTOBER 20-24, 2025) -- National School Bus Safety Week is October 20-24, 2025. Chaffee School District commends our amazing bus drivers and transportation staff! NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH WEEK IS OCTOBER 13-17 -- Join us in celebrating National School Lunch Week on October 13-17, 2025! This week we are honoring the importance of healthy, nutritious meals served in our school cafeteria that support student success in and out of the classroom.
