CONGRATULATIONS LADY DEVILS SOFTBALL!
The Lady Devils brought home 3rd place from the Lady Jays Classic in Jefferson City on September 18-19. They allowed the least amount of runs overall all weekend and were seeded 1 out of their pool. Great Job Lady Devils and Coaches!
CHAFFEE JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL -- SEPTEMBER 17 GAME TIME UPDATE – GAME TIME MOVED TO 6:30 PM
The Chaffee Junior High football game at Doniphan on Thursday, September 17 has been moved to a 6:30 p.m. start time due to the heat. The player bus will leave the school at 3:30 p.m. There will be no early dismissal.
VARSITY LADY DEVILS SOFTBALL -- SEPTEMBER 17 GAME TIME UPDATE – GAME TIME MOVED TO 5:00 PM
The Lady Devils Varsity game on Thursday, September 17 vs Festus (Home Game at Chaffee) will now have a 5:00 p.m. start time (due to the heat). This is a Varsity game only.
CHS FALL FRENZY SPIRIT WEEK PARADE ON OCTOBER 3
Get ready to kick off CHS Fall Frenzy Spirit Week with our annual Fall Frenzy Spirit Week Parade on Saturday, October 3, at 10:00 a.m.
The parade will begin at Chaffee High School, travel down Yoakum to Main Street, and finish at the DAEOC building.
Come out and show your Chaffee Red Devils spirit as we celebrate Fall Frenzy Spirit Week with our students, athletes, band, organizations, businesses, and community groups!
Bring your family, bring your friends, and most importantly -- bring your school spirit! Go Red Devils!
MARK YOUR CALENDAR -- BLOOD DRIVE – SEPTEMBER 28
There will be a Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, September 28, from 1:00-6:00 p.m. in the High School Activity Center. All units collected will help to save lives and also help Chaffee High School students earn scholarships.
Battle of the Classes Blood Drive Competition -- Join the Battle of the Classes Blood Drive competition! Each class—Class of 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030 - will compete to see who can recruit the most donors. The class with the highest number of donors will win a pizza party! Encourage family and friends to donate under your class name. Give blood. Save lives. Help your class win!
REMINDER -- FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES (FCA) HUDDLES MEETING – SEPTEMBER 16
There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Huddles meeting on Wednesday, September 16, in Mrs. Mayberry’s room from 7:20-7:45 a.m. FCA is for grades 7-12. You do NOT have to be an athlete to attend.

September 16 (Wednesday) – Juniors Purchase Date.
October 5 (Monday) – Design submissions are due to Mrs. Swinford by Monday, October 5.
October 10 (Saturday) - The Mark your Spot event will take place on Saturday, October 10, from 8:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. for Juniors and Seniors that would like to paint their parking spots.
** The cost is $30 or $20 if you keep your design from last year.
** Students must purchase a school parking permit from the office for $3.00 before they can paint.

Due to a cancellation, the JV Football game on Monday, September 14, will now be played at Valle Catholic with a 6:00 p.m. start.
CHAFFEE ELEMENTARY BACKPACK PROGRAM FUNDRAISER
Help Us Support Chaffee Elementary Students in Need!
Chaffee Elementary is raising funds to support the BackPack Program that provides students who need some extra support with food to take home each weekend throughout the school year.
Our goal is to raise $4,060, which will provide 28 students with weekend food assistance for the full school year.
There are several ways our school community can help:
~ Complete a donor form and return it to Chaffee Elementary with cash or a check.
~ Make an online donation using the provided link or QR code.
Every donation, big or small, helps ensure that students in our community have access to food when they need it most. Please help get the word out to support these students and their families.

CES RED, WHITE, AND BLUE DRESS UP DAY ON SEPTEMBER 11
CES Dress Up Day on September 11, 2026, in honor of 9/11. We will have a Red, White, & Blue theme, and then for any students who want to wear a hat can pay $1 to their homeroom teacher. All the proceeds will go towards our Playground Fence Fund.
