BLOOD DRIVE ON DECEMBER 2 -- There will be a Blood Drive on Tuesday, December 2, from 1:00-6:00 p.m. in the Chaffee High School Activity Center. Students who are interested in giving blood should see Mr. Westrich. The community can visit RedCrossBlood.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to schedule an appointment or just walk in if appointments are available. All units collected will help to save lives and also help Chaffee High School students earn scholarships. All donors are greatly appreciated!

GIRLS AND BOYS BASKETBALL UPDATES FOR DECEMBER 1, 2025 -- Please help spread the word! The Girls game tonight (December 1st) vs Liberty-Mountain View at the Doniphan River City Classic Tournament has been POSTPONED until Wednesday (same opponent and time) due to inclement weather. The Boys game at the Oran Invitational Tournament is now a 4:00 p.m. start vs Oran at Oran. Bus departure time is 3:00 p.m.

REMINDER – CES – PHOTOS WITH SANTA ORDER FORMS AND PAYMENT ARE DUE MONDAY, DECEMBER 1ST!
The CHS Yearbook staff will be hosting a Photos with Santa event on Tuesday, December 2nd, during school hours! Photos are $5 each and will be delivered by email. Prints are also available at an additional cost. Order forms were sent home with CES students, and order forms and payment are due to your child’s teacher by Monday, December 1st (Checks made payable to Chaffee High School). *This event is for CES students only -- no outside children or parents allowed!* We can't wait to capture some holiday magic at Chaffee Elementary soon!

REMINDER -- EARLY DISMISSAL DAY ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 1ST -- Chaffee Elementary and Jr/Sr High School will have an Early Dismissal on Monday, December 1, 2025. Classes will be dismissed at 1:34 p.m.

CONGRATULATIONS CHAFFEE JUNIOR HIGH BOYS BASKETBALL – The 7th grade team finished 2nd place in the Scott-Mississippi Conference Tournament. The 8th grade won the CHAMPIONSHIP game in the Scott-Mississippi Conference Tournament in overtime 37-34 over East Prairie! Our 8th grade team was also the Regular Season Conference Champions.
Great season by both groups!

NATIONAL SUBSTITUTE TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY - National Substitute Teacher Appreciation Day is Friday, November 21st. Chaffee School District appreciates all of our amazing substitute teachers who step in with commitment, flexibility, and dedication. Your impact goes beyond the lesson plans, and Chaffee School District is so fortunate to have such wonderful substitutes who not only keep our classrooms running smoothly but also inspire and encourage learning. MOBILE FOOD PANTRY AT CHAFFEE HIGH SCHOOL (SPONSORED BY SOUTHEAST MISSOURI FOOD BANK) ON DECEMBER 1 -- There will be a Mobile Food Pantry for residents of Scott County sponsored by the Southeast Missouri Food Bank on Monday, December 1st, at 3:00 p.m. at Chaffee High School in the old hospital parking lot at 517 West Yoakum, Chaffee, MO. Please do not line up prior to 2:30 p.m. and follow onsite parking directions.

PICTURE DAY AT CES AND JR/SR HIGH ON NOVEMBER 21 -- ELEMENTARY PICTURE DAY - Picture Retakes and Classroom Pictures - CES picture retakes and classroom group pictures will be taken on Friday, November 21st. JR/SR HIGH PICTURE DAY - Individual Student School Pictures and Picture Retakes -- Junior and Senior High School individual student school pictures and picture retakes will be taken on Friday, November 21st. If you did not get your school picture taken in July, you need to have your picture taken on Friday. And, if you need picture retakes, they can be taken on Friday.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CHAFFEE INDUSTRIAL ARTS (CIA) STUDENTS -- Congratulations to the Chaffee Industrial Arts (CIA) students for placing 3rd, as a school, during the 22nd Annual MoDOT Bridge Contest at Southeast Missouri State University, on November 12th. There were just under 250 student bridges from 30 schools from the southeastern/southern part of Missouri. 1st place - St. Genevieve / 2nd place - Perryville Career & Technology Center / 3rd place - Chaffee Industrial Arts
