Chaffee School District Enrollment Day for both the Elementary and Jr/Sr High School will be on July 24, 2024 from 7:00 am-7:00 pm in the High School Gymnasium.
Individual student enrollment packets (Elementary and Junior/Senior High School) were mailed out in early July. Parents/guardians are asked to complete all the information on each form and return everything during the 2024-2025 District Enrollment Day on July 24, 2023, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm in the high school gymnasium.
FOOTBALL REMINDERS – High School Football is this week 8:00-9:30 am. And, the Elementary Football Camp will be this week July 15-18 (for Grades 2-5) from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Chaffee High School. It was initially announced that it was for 3rd-5th Grade; however, 2nd Graders are invited too! Come out for some football fun this week!!

RED DEVILS ELEMENTARY (GRADES 3-5) FOOTBALL CAMP JULY 15-18 -- The Chaffee Red Devils will be hosting a FREE elementary school football camp (for Grades 3-5) on Monday, July 15th through Thursday, July 18th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm (noon) at Chaffee High School. The camp is instructed by the high school coaches and football players.
REMINDER – BLOOD DRIVE TODAY!! Chaffee Beta Club has teamed up with The American Red Cross for a blood drive on Monday, July 8, from 1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. in the High School Activity Center. You can make an appointment by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter ChaffeeHS to schedule an appointment. Donors will receive a St. Louis Cardinals T-shirt! Can’t donate? That’s okay! Just help us by spreading the word. Any High Schoolers (grades 9-12) who would like to volunteer to help with registration or snacks can contact Mrs. Rodgers for more info.

SUMMER WEIGHTS (STRENGTH & CONDITIONING) REMINDER FOR JULY 1-2, 2024 -- Reminder that there will only be 2 days of summer weights with our annual combine this week (Monday and Tuesday -- July 1-2). We will be off July 3-7 and start back up on Monday, July 8.
CES Families – We hope you are enjoying your summer break! We will be back to school before you know it so if you want to get a head start on the back to school supply list, you can find our CES School Supply List for 2024-2025 on the school website under the Elementary School Announcements tab or on our CES Facebook page. And, just a reminder that our District Enrollment Day is on Wednesday, July 24, at the High School Gym. We will send out more details at a later date.
The board of education has set the timeline for potential board candidates due to an opening of a board seat. Potential candidates need to send a short biographical introduction and why they would like to serve as a board member. These will be due no later than August 1, 2024 to the Chaffee R-2 Central Office. Board members will interview candidates before the next board meeting (August 13, 2024) with installation at the September board meeting.

MISSOURI SUN BUCKS PROGRAM - Helping Families Access Food During the Summer - Missouri is currently waiting on federal approval for a new program called “Missouri Sun Bucks” designed to help families buy food and groceries for their school-aged children during the summer. Eligible families would receive a one-time $120 benefit per qualifying child on an EBT card to buy food from authorized locations. At this time, Missouri Sun Bucks is pending approval. However, parents should start preparing for when the program launches. GRADUATES DIPLOMA PACKET PICKUP ON MONDAY, JUNE 3RD -- Starting on Monday, June 3rd, graduates can pick up their diploma packets in the main high school office. All fees and outstanding balances must be paid before packets can be picked up!
