ATTENTION CHS SENIORS AND JUNIORS! MAKE YOUR MARK -- PAINT YOUR PARKING SPOT! Seniors can start purchasing their parking spots on Monday morning (Monday, September 15th) at 7:30 a.m. from Mrs. Swinford! Junior parking spots will go on sale on Thursday, September 18th, at 7:30 a.m. Design Submissions are due to Mrs. Swinford by September 29th. We will have our "Paint Your Parking Spot" event on Saturday, October 4th. If you can't make it that day, you can paint your parking spot any time after that date that you are available. The cost is $30, or $20 if you kept your design from last year. You must purchase a school parking permit from the office for $3.00 before you can paint!

GAME TIME CHANGE FOR HS FOOTBALL GAME ON SATURDAY -- The start time of the HS Football game on Saturday, September 13th, at Hayti has been moved up to 10:00 a.m. due to heat concerns. The bus will leave Scott City at 6:45 a.m. Coaches will notify our players what time the bus will leave from Chaffee to Scott City.

MISSOURI EMERGENCY PERSONNEL APPRECIATION DAY AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DAY (SEPTEMBER 11) - Emergency Personnel Appreciation Day is September 11th. This is a day set apart for acknowledging, with special gratitude and profound respect, all emergency personnel. The Chaffee R-2 Board has announced they are taking applications for the position of Superintendent due to retirement. Application materials can be found by going to
www.chaffeer2.org and once there click in the top right hand corner on the Explore tab. In the Document Folder you will find the application announcement, application, and salary schedule. Applications will be taken until October 17, 2025 with interviews to be held the first week of November.

August 29th Game Times -- 4:00 p.m.–First game on Field 5 Chaffee Lady Devils vs Lutheran South. 5:45 p.m.-Second game Lady Devils will play at 5:45 p.m. on Field 5 or 6 vs Notre Dame or Sikeston. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for Senior Citizens and students. HS VARSITY FOOTBALL GAME AT SCOTT CITY ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 29TH -- The first home Football Game at Scott City on August 29th vs East Prairie is a “Green Up Game”. Chaffee athletic passes are honored by Scott City. Teachers can show their school ID’s to get in all year. Students who wear green get in free Friday. RED DEVIL ATHLETIC PASS AND T-SHIRT BUNDLE (ORDERS DUE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5) -- Buy a student or adult athletic pass and get a Red Devil t-shirt! These passes will get you into any junior high or high school home game for football and basketball. They will also be accepted at Scott City High School home football games. Student passes are $35 and Adult passes are $50. Passes will be handed out immediately. T-shirts will be distributed by Monday, September 22. Orders are due on Friday, September 5th, to Mrs. Swinford or Mrs. Knutson. If you have already purchased a pass, please email Mrs. Knutson or Mrs. Swinford with your shirt size.
