Congratulations to Colin Menz for being selected as the 1st Alternate Trumpet in the 2023-24 Missouri All-State Band! This accomplishment signifies that Colin is the 12th best Trumpet player in the entire state of Missouri, regardless of school size or classification. Great job, Colin! CONGRATULATIONS TO LEVI MCKINNIE ON SIGNING WITH JEFFERSON COLLEGE! Congratulations to Levi McKinnie on signing with Jefferson College on Wednesday, November 29, to continue his academic and baseball career. Levi is a three-sport athlete and helped the Red Devils to a third-place finish in the Class 2 State Baseball Tournament in 2023. Congrats Levi! CHS is proud of you!

JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL HAT DAY ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 29! Reminder -- StuCo will sponsor their first Hat Day for Jr/Sr High School students on Wednesday, November 29. Students and staff are encouraged to wear school appropriate hats for a $1 donation. StuCo members will be in the activity center and at the front doors in the morning to collect money and give students a sticker. Please make sure your sticker is visible so teachers know you have paid your money. All proceeds will go to the Special Olympics. The best hat will win a prize!

Congratulations to all of the CHS students who participated in the MoDOT bridge competition with a total of 208 bridges in the competition. Our CHS students won 2nd Place School Overall! Also, congratulations to Ayne’ Held for getting Most Aesthetic and 4th place overall, and Connor Berry for getting 8th place overall. Congrats students!
