REMINDER – SPORTS PHYSICALS ON MAY 24 -- Sports physicals have been scheduled for Friday, May 24 in the High School Gym. Boys Sports Physicals at 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Girls Sports Physicals from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Paperwork is available from the high school office. The cost is $20. REMINDER – SPRING ATHLETIC BANQUET (MAY 23, 2024) -- The Spring Athletic Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 23, at 6:30 pm in the High School Activity Center. This is for all Spring High School athletes. The meal is free to athletes and coaches. Guests are $12. The meal will be Kettle Beef, Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Corn, Drink, Dessert.

SUMMER SCHOOL (MAY 20-JUNE 11) -- Summer School for Grades K-12 will be from 7:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. on May 20-June 11 on the High School campus. No classes will be held on Memorial Day (Monday, May 27, 2024). All classes (K-12) will be held at the High School. CONGRATULATIONS CARLYANNE COSSOU! Carlyanne Cossou earned All State honors in two events on May 18th in Jefferson City at the State Track & Field Meet. She was 4th in the Triple Jump with a PR jump of 10.61m (34-9) and 5th in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 15.88. She is the first Chaffee athlete to achieve individual All State recognition in 2 individual events since Luisa Boschan accomplished this goal in 2010. Congratulations Carlyanne!
CONGRATULATIONS BLAKE YARBRO! Blake Yarbro achieved All State honors by placing 2nd in the Shot Put at the State Track & Field Meet in Jefferson City on May 18th with a PR throw of 15.88m (52-1). It is the furthest throw in the Shot Put for a Chaffee athlete at State since Eric Glastetter set the school record in 1985. Congratulations Blake!

Congratulations Ayné Held! Ayné Held achieved All State Track & Field honors on May 17th by placing 3rd in the javelin at the State Meet in Jefferson City with a throw of 38.28m (125-7).

Ayné Held achieved ALL STATE honors on May 17th by placing 3rd in the javelin at the State Meet in Jefferson City with a throw of 38.28m (125-7). Carlyanne Cossou placed 9th in the 300 meter hurdles, missing all state status by one place with a time of 48.46 (PR). Madison Pobst placed 14th in the shot put with a distance of 9.74m (31-11). Carlyanne Cossou placed 15th in the high jump clearing 1.40m (4-7). Carlyanne Cossou qualified for the finals in the 100 meter hurdles by placing 5th overall in the prelims with a time of 15.62 (PR). GRADUATION CEREMONY (MAY 16, 2024) -- The 2024 CHS Graduation Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, at 7:00 pm in the Chaffee High School Gymnasium. Gym doors will open at 6:00 pm. Each graduate will be given four (4) tickets allowing guests to sit in the floor area. The gym bleachers will be available and open to other family members, friends, and the public.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL (MAY 16, 2024) – The last day of school for the 2023-24 school year is Thursday, May 16. School will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.
