NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT APPRECIATION DAY -- January 9th is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Thank You to all of our law enforcement officers who keep our school and community safe! And, a very special Thank You to our Chaffee School District Resource Officer -- Officer Lyerla!
Chaffee R-2 will not be in session Friday, January 10, 2025 due to the forecasted snow storm coming in overnight. Hopefully, this will give families time to adjust their plans. Thank you and Stay Warm!

GIRLS BASKETBALL UPDATES AND REMINDERS -- Tonight’s (Tuesday, January 7) girls basketball game at Woodland has been postponed. When a make-up date is scheduled, it will be announced. Girls will practice today (1/7/25) after school in the AC gym until 5:15 pm. Girls will play at Oak Ridge tomorrow (Wednesday, January 8) at 6:00 pm. The bus departure is at 4:30 pm.
We are excited to welcome our students and staff back for the first day of classes in 2025 on Tuesday, January 7. Bus routes will run as usual.
Students, please bundle up in warm clothes before you head out the door to the bus stop or to walk to school.

EARLY DISMISSAL ON DECEMBER 20 FOR CHRISTMAS / WINTER BREAK -- Chaffee School District will have an early dismissal at 1:30 pm on Friday, December 20, to begin our Christmas / Winter Break. Second Quarter ends on Friday, December 20th. High School Cape Career & Technology (CTC) student reminders -- Afternoon CTC students will NOT attend classes on Friday, December 20th due to their shortened schedule. CTC students need to sign out before leaving at lunch. Students will return to school from break on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
