WINTER BREAK -- Second Quarter ends on Wednesday, December 20th. High School CTC students reminders--Only morning Cape Career and Technology Center (CTC) students will attend CTC classes. Afternoon CTC students will not be attending classes the afternoon of Wednesday, December 20th. Winter Break begins on Thursday, December 21st. Students will return to school from break on Monday, January 8th.
ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PARTIES AND LOST & FOUND COATS, HOODIES, AND CLOTHING REMINDERS – Elementary Christmas Parties will be at 2:15 pm on Wednesday, December 20. Parents – If your child is missing a coat, hoodie, or other clothing, please make sure you stop by and check our CES Lost & Found, or if you are at the Christmas parties on Wednesday please remember to check at that time. We have numerous coats and hoodies in the Lost and Found and would like to get them sent home with the students before break.

We encourage all the students to participate and have some fun before Christmas. MONDAY – Holiday Sweater Day: Wear a Festive or Ugly Sweater! TUESDAY – Holiday Character Day: Dress as your Favorite Character (Grinch / Santa / Frosty Reindeer / Elf)! WEDNESDAY – Long Winter’s Nap: Holiday Pajama Day!
JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL FINALS ARE DECEMBER 18-20 -- Jr/Sr High School final exams are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as follows: Monday, December 18 - 1st and 3rd periods / Tuesday, December 19 - 2nd and 4th periods // Wednesday, December 20 - 5th, 6th, 7th periods.

CHS CHEER SHOWCASE! The CHS Cheer Team will be having a Showcase of their state competition routine for the school student body, parents, and community on Wednesday, December 6, at 7:00 pm in the Activity Center. Please come out and support our CHS cheerleaders and wish them good luck for their State Competition on Saturday!
BLOOD DRIVE ON DECEMBER 5 AT CHS! FBLA and Beta Club will be sponsoring a Blood Drive in the High School Activity Center on Tuesday, December 5, from 1:00-6:00 pm. Students who are interested in giving blood should see Mr. Westrich. CONGRATULATIONS TO LEVI MCKINNIE ON SIGNING WITH JEFFERSON COLLEGE! Congratulations to Levi McKinnie on signing with Jefferson College on Wednesday, November 29, to continue his academic and baseball career. Levi is a three-sport athlete and helped the Red Devils to a third-place finish in the Class 2 State Baseball Tournament in 2023. Congrats Levi! CHS is proud of you!
