SUMMER WEIGHTS (STRENGTH & CONDITIONING) REMINDER FOR JULY 1-2, 2024 -- Reminder that there will only be 2 days of summer weights with our annual combine this week (Monday and Tuesday -- July 1-2). We will be off July 3-7 and start back up on Monday, July 8.
The board of education has set the timeline for potential board candidates due to an opening of a board seat. Potential candidates need to send a short biographical introduction and why they would like to serve as a board member. These will be due no later than August 1, 2024 to the Chaffee R-2 Central Office. Board members will interview candidates before the next board meeting (August 13, 2024) with installation at the September board meeting.

MISSOURI SUN BUCKS PROGRAM - Helping Families Access Food During the Summer - Missouri is currently waiting on federal approval for a new program called “Missouri Sun Bucks” designed to help families buy food and groceries for their school-aged children during the summer. Eligible families would receive a one-time $120 benefit per qualifying child on an EBT card to buy food from authorized locations. At this time, Missouri Sun Bucks is pending approval. However, parents should start preparing for when the program launches. REMINDER – SPORTS PHYSICALS ON MAY 24 -- Sports physicals have been scheduled for Friday, May 24 in the High School Gym. Boys Sports Physicals at 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Girls Sports Physicals from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Paperwork is available from the high school office. The cost is $20. Payment can be made by cash or check to Chaffee Family Care.
Good morning! Our Red Devil Baseball team has advanced to the Final Four. Due to the game schedule we will cancel classes for Tues. May 28th. This day will be made up on June 12th. Summer Weights will now start on Wed. May 29th.
REMINDER – SPRING ATHLETIC BANQUET (MAY 23, 2024) -- The Spring Athletic Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 23, at 6:30 pm in the High School Activity Center. This is for all Spring High School athletes. The meal is free to athletes and coaches. Guests are $12. The meal will be Kettle Beef, Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Corn, Drink, Dessert.
