The 2026 Chaffee R-2 Foundation Briggs Scholarship application is now available for Current Seniors and Past Graduates!
The deadline to submit the Briggs Scholarship Application is March 31, 2026.
The Chaffee R-2 Foundation Briggs Scholarship application is now available for seniors and past graduates.
The application can be picked up at the High School Office or can be found online on the High School website under the Jr/Sr High School Announcements Webpage; the Counselor’s Office Webpage; or under the News Section.
Every Chaffee High School graduating Senior and Chaffee High School graduate under the age of 28 years attending undergraduate college, junior college, vocational school, or technical school is eligible. Graduate students are not eligible.
REMINDER: Briggs Scholarship recipients must renew EVERY semester and apply EVERY YEAR in order to continue receiving the scholarship.
The following items MUST be returned to the Counselor’s Office at Chaffee High School, 517 West Yoakum Avenue, Chaffee, MO 63740 in a sealed envelope no later than Tuesday, March 31, at 3:00 p.m.
(1) Completed Application (3 pages)
(2) Typed essay (see page 2 for instructions)
(3) Please include a copy of page 1 & 2 of your FAFSA submission summary that contains your Student Aid Index (SAI).
(4) PREVIOUS GRADUATES – You must also include with your application a self- addressed envelope with current postage prepaid. This envelope will be used to advise you of any amounts awarded.
